[Hotel Mario Intro - Nes]

And the scary part is...

This game probably would have made more sense on the NES. For those of you that don't get it, research the CDI game "Mario Hotel". I thought it was fairly well done. I actually wouldn't mind seeing every cutscene from this game done in this style. Kudos to the artist; I enjoy your sense of humor.

Wait... well THAT was unexpected!

Original and well put together =) I thought I had guessed the ending twice while watching this only to be surprised at the actual ending itself. I like Flash that keeps me guessing while I'm watching. The music felt appropriate and your character's facial expressions were able to speak to me and tell the story quite nicely.

This can only be understood first hand

I'll take it that any people with cruel reviews here have never lost internet for a duration longer than a thunderstorm. For those of us who use routers (or even worse... dial up ><) know the feeling I feel is portrayed quite well when you return to your computer to find that 90% of your options gone with the lack of internet. And the internet stays gone for days or on occasion even weeks...
Sure... it's not a "Long" flash cartoon. But they all don't have to be. This one was made to express a feeling... not to tell a story. Although a story is usually behind feelings like this.
Kudos to the artist: Good work on your first flash submission. Looking forward to future submissions ^^;

Interesting

Style was very similar to that of Alvin Earthworm (maker of SMBZ). I liked it... short as it was. Even though it was only a preview, submitting something of a longer length next time would help us give critique on your work as we would have more to analyze.
